Bare Conductor
Bare conductor is a non insulated conductor product made of metals such as copper, aluminum, steel, and their alloys. It is divided into three types according to its shape: round wire, shaped wire, and flexible wire. It is mainly used in power transmission overhead lines, battery connection lines, motor windings, and electrical equipment connection scenarios, among which steel cored aluminum stranded wire is widely used as a typical bare stranded wire in the construction of 10 kV overhead lines

Application
AAC:Mainly for bare conductors usually used in overhead lines.
AAAC:Used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution.Designed utilizing a high strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio;affords better sag characteristic.
ACSR/AW:Used for overhead transmission and distribution lines. Also,as neutral messenger for low voltage multiplex cables.
ACAR:Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR)cable is an excellent conductor choice where current carrying capacity, higher strength and a lower conductor weight are critical to the line design.
Applicable Standards
AAC:ASTM B 231,BS EN-50182,AS/NZS 1531,DIN 48201,CSA 61089,IEC 61089,GB/T 1179,BS215 or the standards agreed by both of the customers and us.
Production Scope
Max.Cross-Section 5000MCM/2500mm²,Max.Stranded number 127Nos.
Construction
- For AAAC: Aluminum alloy wires, concentrically stranded.
- *We can design and produce according to client's requirement.
Technical Characteristics
- AAC/British Sizes-BS 215
- AAC/U.S.A Sizes-ASTMB231
